Getting the basics right for your report's content index
This service focuses on the implementation of the main GRI requirements for reporting in accordance and with reference, reviewing the content index compliance, accessibility, and consistency. Checks provided are on a limited set of disclosures. It is recommended for experienced reporters familiar with the GRI Standards 2021.
By choosing this service, we help you make sure that:
- Your GRI content index is presented consistently with the GRI Standards
- All compulsory disclosures are included and the material topics are presented clearly
- A short sample of your GRI disclosures are presented correctly in the content index and the reported information is accessible
- The reasons for omissions and their explanations are used correctly, as well as any reference to GRI and the Standards

For reports prepared using the Universal Standards 2021.

This service is more extensive as it reviews a broader set of GRI disclosures in the content index, including the Sector Standards requirements where applicable. It suggests additional improvements at the level of disclosure requirements and is is recommended for less experienced reporting organizations who are less confident with the revised Universal Standards and is compulsory for Sector Standards users.
In addition to the benefits of the Content Index - Essentials service, the Content Index - Advanced service also provides:
- A large sample of your GRI disclosures are presented correctly in the content index, and the reported information is accessible
- For Sector Standards users, this includes a review of the Sector Standards’ disclosure and reporting requirements
- A review of whether you are meeting the GRI disclosures’ requirements in your reporting
